Vikas Sehgal

Vikas Sehgal is a prominent leader in the automotive and finance sectors, currently serving as Global Partner and Vice Chairman at Rothschild & Co since April 2011, and as Managing General Partner at both the Vasuki India Fund and Vasuki Technology Fund since September 2020 and December 2018, respectively. Vikas also holds independent director positions on the boards of Cyient and Novelis. Vikas has a governmental background as an advisor for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India from January 2016 to July 2020. Vikas was active in the World Economic Forum as the Chairman of the Global Agenda Council for Automotive & Transportation until 2020. Vikas's prior roles include independent board directorships at Houghton International and Infotech, and strategic advisory for Groupe PSA. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Technology Policy Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from the University of Delhi - Delhi College of Engineering.
