Ruben Hop

Ruben Hop has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ruben is currently working as the Finance Director at Novenco Marine & Offshore. Prior to this, Ruben held the position of Senior Financial Controller at OBOS for four years. Before that, they worked at EY as a Manager, specializing in audit and audit-related services for a variety of clients. Ruben also gained experience as a Customer Consultant at Sparebanken Vest, where they provided banking services and sales advice to clients. Ruben began their professional career as a Summer Intern at Posten Norge, where they were involved in mail distribution and banking transactions.

Ruben Hop's education history is as follows:

From 2005 to 2006, Ruben attended Fredly Folkehøgskole where they studied sports and outdoor studies. After that, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in economics at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. In 2008, they went on an exchange program at Augsburg University, where they focused on economics and international business.

In 2009, Ruben began their Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration with a major in finance at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), completing it in 2011. Additionally, in 2010, they participated in an exchange program at The University of Waikato, studying finance and economics.

After a gap in formal education, Ruben resumed their studies in 2013 and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Professional Accountancy from BI Norwegian Business School in 2014.

In terms of certifications, Ruben obtained a certification as a state-authorized public accountant from The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway in February 2015.
