Michael Burns is an experienced information assurance and cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in managing security programs across various organizations. Since May 2019, Michael has served as the Corporate Information System Security Manager at Novetta, overseeing information assurance for classified systems and the unclassified corporate network. Concurrently, as Cybersecurity Validation Program Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton since February 2018, Michael has led teams in risk analysis, process improvement, and developed automated systems for cybersecurity workflows. Previously, Michael held pivotal roles at Peraton as Information System Security Manager and at the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included managing cybersecurity programs and ensuring compliance with DoD guidelines. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the American Public University System and an Associate of Science in Information Systems Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
