Eric Durandau is a Biomarker Data Scientist Specialist at NOVIGENIX. Eric has also worked as a Research Assistant at CHUV | Lausanne university hospital, Institut de microbiologie, where they transcriptomics identified of genetic determinants of pathogenicity in Candida albicans. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at CHUV / Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois, where they developed a method for real-time identification and characterisation of bacteria from bloodstream sample using metagenomic Next Generation Sequencing. Eric has also worked as a Research Collaborator at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they synchronised the circadian clock of mouse fibroblasts using temperature cycles and luminescence, and developed image processing platforms for pairwise smFISH dot identification or live single cell fluorescent protein expression quantification.
Eric Durandau has a research doctorate from the University of Lausanne in the field of life sciences. Eric also holds a master's degree in microbiology and immunology from Université Grenoble Alpes, as well as a Master 2 in immunology microbiology infectiology from the same school. Additionally, they have a master's degree in cellular and molecular biology from Université Grenoble Alpes, and a Master 1 in molecular biology from the same school.
