Jay Alforque

Jay Alforque has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jay is currently working at NOVIPRO as an ERP & Infrastructure Project Manager since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GURUS Solutions as a Project Manager from March 2021 to April 2022, where they assisted clients with Netsuite ERP Implementations and Integrations.

Before joining GURUS Solutions, Jay worked at Sidel, starting as a Pre-Contracting Service Project Manager in May 2016 and later becoming the Lead Service Project Manager in January 2019. In these roles, they managed a team, supported day-to-day operations, tracked budgets, and provided product support to the sales team.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Program Management Analyst at BOMBARDIER from August 2015 to February 2016, where they supported the Product Change Management governance board. Jay also worked as a Mechanical Engineer/Project Coordinator at Aesus from September 2014 to August 2015, where they coordinated between clients and internal teams to deliver machines.

Jay started their career as an intern, working as a Liaison/Stress Engineer Intern at Bombardier Aerospace from May 2013 to September 2013, and as a Project Manager intern/Health & Safety assistant at Valmet from May 2012 to May 2013. Jay also gained experience as a Stagiaire Dessin Technique at Velan Inc. from May 2009 to August 2011, where they worked on standardizing and modifying drawings based on customer specifications.

Jay Alforque attended CEGEP - John Abbott College from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a DEC in Pure & Applied Sciences. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Concordia University from 2008 to 2014.
