Dirk Steinert, MD, MBA has a strong background in the medical field with extensive experience in leadership roles. Additionally, they held the title of MD at Ascension from 2004 to 2023. Dr. Steinert's career also includes roles at Columbia St. Mary's, where they worked as an MD from 2004 to 2023. Dirk Steinert, MD, MBA, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and German from Lake Forest College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Dirk then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they attended Tulane University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998, where they completed their Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (IM/Peds). In 2015 to 2016, they obtained a certificate in Managing Health Care Delivery from Harvard Business School. Recently, from 2018 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare at the Lubar College of Business.
