Gerardo Tremont

Gerardo Tremont has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gerardo began their career as an International Project Coordinator at Desarollo Empresarial, where they coordinated the planning and implementation of an international economic development initiative. Gerardo then interned at the Political Section of the British Embassy Caracas, reporting on the political situation in Venezuela.

Tremont later worked as a Foreign Companies Representative at DVA Group, where they prepared tenders for multinational companies in the division of banknotes and security papers. Gerardo then served as a Project Management Officer at The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, leading water and wastewater management projects in Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.

After that, Tremont worked as an Engagement Coordinator at The Challenge, a charity in England, coordinating social programs sponsored by the U.K. government. Gerardo then volunteered as a Translator-Interpreter for Latin American Refugee Claimants at the Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support in Canada.

Gerardo Tremont pursued their Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Universidad Central de Venezuela, completing it from 2007 to 2011. Later on, they attended Tel Aviv University and obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, specializing in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, they have also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills, including "Negotiation Foundations" and "Purchasing Foundations" from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2020 and May 2020 respectively. Furthermore, Gerardo obtained a certification in International Mediation from Tel Aviv University in July 2014.
