Mathias D. Krarup

Mathias D. Krarup serves as the Director of Legal at Novo Nordisk Foundation since May 2015, overseeing a team of lawyers and managing legal aspects of grant-giving, impact investments, and strategic partnerships. Prior to this role, Mathias held the position of Chair of the Board at Djøf Advokat and worked as an Attorney-at-Law and Assistant Attorney at Bech-Bruun, focusing on corporate matters and M&A transactions. Academic contributions include serving as a Ph.D. Fellow and Lecturer in Company Law at the University of Copenhagen. Mathias holds an LL.M from the University of Copenhagen, has been a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School, and has an LL.B from the University of Southern Denmark.
