Abdu Sahan is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a QA Manager for Novo Nordisk, Abdu has previously held key positions at AJ Vaccines as Head of QA Facilities & QC and Head of QA Compliance, where responsibilities included overseeing quality processes and managing teams of QA specialists. With a robust background in quality control management at AGC Biologics, Agilent Technologies, and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S, Abdu has consistently focused on ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing quality processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Abdu holds multiple degrees in Biochemistry from Københavns Universitet and Keele University, and has experience beginning as a Research Assistant at the Food Safety and Zoonoses division.
