Agnete Overgaard

Agnete Overgaard is an experienced scientist with a strong background in neurobiology, image analysis, and peptide research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Novo Nordisk since March 2023, Overgaard previously worked as a Biomedical Scientist at Visiopharm and a Research Scientist at Gubra, focusing on deep learning-based image analysis and antibody validation. With extensive research experience at the Neurobiology Research Unit at Rigshospitalet, Overgaard conducted postdoctoral investigations on serotonin receptor binding related to mood disorders and completed a PhD on the kisspeptin system's hormonal and environmental influences. Overgaard's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Neurobiology and Anatomy and a Master of Science in Human Biology from the University of Copenhagen.
