Kim Bundegaard

Kim Bundegaard is the current Senior Vice President at Novo Nordisk. Kim has been with the company since January 1999 and in their current role since December 2019. Prior to that, they served as the SVP of Business Assurance, Chief Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer. In that role, they were responsible for overall internal audit (financial, business ethics and IT audits), business ethics compliance, facilitation (values audits), Audit Committee Secretariat including the Compliance Hotline and the Ombudsman function. The function consisted of approximately 60 employees in Denmark and abroad in addition to approximately 100 employees worldwide dealing with various kinds of compliance and assurance activities including responsibility for organizing Audit Committee and relations to the external auditors.

Before joining Novo Nordisk, Kim Bundegaard was an Audit Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from January 1989 to December 1999.

Their manager is Karsten Munk Knudsen, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. They are on a team with Peter Bøggild - Senior Vice President, Business Finance, Tomas Haagen - Group General Counsel & Senior Vice President.
