Lars Bækkelund

Lars Bækkelund is an experienced IT executive with a background in leading cross-organizational IT initiatives at Novo Nordisk, where positions included Corporate Vice President for IT Business Support & Program Office, Cross Digital, Data & IT, and Finance, Business Services & Cross IT from October 2018 to April 2024. In these roles, Bækkelund provided strategic oversight and support for global IT systems, services, and projects, including leadership of the S/4HANA program. Prior to Novo Nordisk, Bækkelund served as an SAP Consultant at Accenture from March 1998 to June 2001, specializing in SAP Functional Customizing. Bækkelund holds a Master of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from Syddansk Universitet and completed Upper Secondary School with a focus on Mathematics at Midtfyns Gymnasium.
