Lia Walhagen

Lia Walhagen is an accomplished R&D Test Engineer at Novo Nordisk, specializing in platform testing and new technologies within the Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS) sector since November 2022. Prior to this role, Lia served as an Associate Medical Specialist at Coloplast from January 2021 to November 2022, where responsibilities included ensuring medical compliance and quality control across various projects, significantly contributing to new product developments and campaigns. Lia's academic background includes a master's thesis project at DTU - Technical University of Denmark focused on health technology, in which material properties of SLA 3D-printed organ-on-a-chip models were optimized. Lia holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology Engineering with a specialization in biomedical sensors and materials from Linköping University, complemented by a student exchange program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
