Mafalda Pires

Mafalda Pires is a trainee at Baseform since March 2023, focusing on time series analysis and classification through a curricular internship. Currently serving as President and Head of the Communication Department at NMATH, Mafalda is also an Algorithm and Quantitative Trader for Técnico Investment Club. Previous experience includes a QA Trainee role at Celfocus, where an optimization tool for test case design was developed, and a Corporate Relations Member with AIESEC in Portugal, establishing connections with SMEs and conducting market research. Early career highlights include serving as a tutor for physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Mafalda holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computation from Instituto Superior Técnico and completed secondary education in Sciences and Technologies at Escola Secundária Engenheiro Acácio Calazans Duarte.
