Nevin Gerek Ince

Nevin Gerek Ince is an experienced leader in data and solutions engineering, with a distinguished career spanning multiple roles in prominent organizations. At Novo Nordisk, from March 2022 to July 2023, Nevin served as Director of Data and Solutions Engineering, spearheading the Data Platform & Data Products enabling team and implementing innovative data mesh strategies to enhance AI/ML insights. Previously, Nevin led the Software Products department as Head of Department at Research Applications, optimizing analytical data accessibility for 1,400 researchers. During tenure at AVEVA from January 2014 to March 2022, Nevin advanced next-generation simulation software utilized in the chemical industry as an R&D Senior Manager and held various leadership positions. Nevin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The University of Akron and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
