Vivek Gopalan

Vivek Gopalan is a seasoned professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Novo Nordisk since September 2021. Prior to this role, Vivek held various senior positions at MEDGENOME, including Director of Clinical Bioinformatics Operations and Clinical Software Development, and played a significant role in developing clinical bioinformatics strategies. Experience also includes tenure at Ingenuity Systems as an Associate Staff Scientific Quality Engineer and at Lockheed Martin leading bioinformatics teams and projects in the Health and Life Sciences Division. Earlier in the career, Vivek worked as a Research Fellow at the University System of Maryland specializing in computational molecular evolution and as a Research Scientist at Vittal Mallya Scientific Research Foundation focusing on automation in fermentation processes.
