Kerri Cahoy

Advisor at Novo Space

Kerri Cahoy is a Full Professor and the Space Sector Head at MIT AeroAstro, where responsibilities include nanosatellite technology demonstrations, MEMS optics, laser communication, weather sensing, and exoplanet direct imaging technology for space telescopes. Kerri has a rich background in academia, serving in various roles at MIT since 2010, including Co-Founder and Advisor at SpaceRake and Director at MIT Space Telecommunications, Astronomy and Radiation Laboratory. Previous experience includes work as a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow at NASA Ames Research Center, and roles at Space Systems Loral and Stanford University, where Kerri contributed to projects related to Mars missions and exoplanet detection. Kerri holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
