Atif Zia

Atif Zia has held various leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Atif started their career at Novex Pharma in 1999 as a Validation & Mfg. Technical Services Manager. Atif then joined Apotex Inc. in 2002, serving as the Director of Validation Services and later as the Director of Production. In 2009, they moved to Septodont as the Vice President/General Manager. In 2015, they joined Novocol Healthcare Inc. as the Vice President/General Manager and later became the President. Currently, Atif Zia is the Chief Operating Officer of Septodont and the President of Novocol Pharma.

Atif Zia pursued an Hon B.Sc degree in Human Biology, Life & Environmental Sciences, Botany from the University of Toronto. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management for the Global Executive Masters of Business Administration - Health & Life Sciences program, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Atif completed their degree from the Rotman School of Management in 2020.
