Zora W.

Zora W. has a strong background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Zora is currently working at NovoEd as a Sr. User Experience Designer, a role they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of User Experience Designer at NovoEd, starting in July 2022.

Before joining NovoEd, Zora worked at Sysco as a Sr. UI/UX Designer from July 2016 to July 2019. Zora also gained experience as a User Experience Designer at Particle Media, Inc. from June 2015 to July 2016. Prior to that, they were a UI/UX Designer at ZenBanx Holding Ltd. from September 2014 to May 2015.

Zora's career in UX design started at Yahoo! where they held the role of User experience designer from July 2012 to October 2013. Before that, they worked as a User Experience Design Intern at Yahoo! from March 2011 to July 2012.

Zora began their professional journey as an Intern in Digital Printing and Publishing at Chinese Culture University in May 2009, where they worked until August 2009.

Zora W. pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Communication from Chinese Culture University from 2006 to 2009. In 2007 and 2008, Zora also completed an ESL (English as a Second Language) program at Murray State University. In 2010, Zora continued their education and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Information Design from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.

In 2016, Zora attended UC Berkeley Extension for a period of one year, although the degree name and field of study for this program are not specified.

Most recently, Zora enrolled in Parsons School of Design - The New School in 2021, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Visualization, which will be completed in 2022.

In terms of certifications, Zora obtained several in recent years. In 2020, they completed the certifications for "Data Visualization" and "JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures" from freeCodeCamp. In 2021, Zora completed the "Information Visualization: Programming with D3.js" certification from Coursera. Furthermore, in 2022, Zora received certifications in "SQL Essential Training," "Interaction Design: Structure," "SQL for Exploratory Data Analysis Essential Training," and "Data Analytics: Dashboards vs. Data Stories" from LinkedIn. Lastly, in 2023, Zora obtained the "Python for Data Visualization" certification from LinkedIn. The obtaining month and year are not provided for the "Responsive Web Design" certification from freeCodeCamp.
