Praveen Sahay

Praveen Sahay is the Managing Director at WAVE Equity Partners since January 2013, specializing in providing expansion capital to companies with transformative technologies in clean energy, food, and water industries. In addition to this role, Praveen serves on the boards of several companies, including MayMaan Research, intelligent fluids GmbH, Novolyze, WindESCo, Carbon Clean, Factorial Energy, Intellihot Inc., and previously CHASM Advanced Materials, Inc. From March 2003 to December 2012, Praveen was a Director at VIMAC Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in IT, telecom, and industrial sectors. Praveen holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Kauffman Fellowship, an Engineering Diploma in Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and degrees in Nuclear Physics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
