Hanh Vo has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of Chemical Engineering. Hanh started their career at Dow Corning in 1978, working in various roles as a Chemical Engineer, Design Engineer, Development Engineer, and Project Engineer. Hanh then became a Sr. Project Engineer at Dow Corning from 1988 to 1991.

From 1993 to 2014, Hanh Vo worked at Dow Corning as a Scientist Emeritus, Process Engineering Scientist, Associate Process Engineering Scientist, and Sr. Process Engineering Specialist. In these roles, they provided technical consultation on mixing and reactor design to various business functions globally, and also acted as a representative for membership to mixing research consortia. Hanh also worked with external experts on process intensification technologies.

After retiring from Dow Corning in 2013, Hanh Vo worked as a Consultant at VoMixing, LLC, where they provided part-time technical consultation in areas related to Chemical Engineering, as well as part-time teaching positions in math and science. Hanh also briefly retired again in 2013 before becoming a Lead Engineer at Novomer, Inc. in 2013. In this role, they led process development activities using a proprietary homogeneous catalyst. Hanh Vo remains available for technical consultation and teaching positions in their retirement.

Hanh Vo's education history begins in 1971 when they attended the Polytechnic University of Thu Duc in Saigon, South Vietnam. Hanh completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1971 to 1975.

Afterward, Hanh Vo pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1976 and 1977.

To further enhance their expertise, Hanh Vo continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1983 to 1988.

Overall, Hanh Vo completed their academic journey with a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from different institutions over the course of seventeen years.
