Markku Weingärtner

Markku Weingärtner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Markku started their career as a Sales Manager at Local Guru in 2007 and went on to become the owner of Sticked, an event organization company specializing in watersports. In 2008, they became the owner of Adrenaline Driven sports, an import company for kitesurfing equipment.

Transitioning into the cleaning industry, Markku worked at Hago Nederland B.V. as an Ambulant Object Leader, Rayon Manager, and National Account Manager. Markku then joined Hago Zorg B.V. as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on developing customer partnerships and collaboration.

In 2018, Markku took on the role of International Sales and Marketing Manager at Leviy, a software provider in the facility and cleaning industry. In 2019, they became a District Manager at Effektief Facility Services, where they managed cleaning services for various clients, including major venues in the event sector.

More recently, Markku has held positions as Commercial Director at Vlietstra Schoonmaak and Novon Schoonmaak, both regional cleaning companies. These roles allowed him to combine their expertise in the cleaning industry with their strategic and managerial skills.

Throughout their career, Markku has demonstrated strong leadership, customer-oriented approaches, and experience in sales and marketing.

Markku Weingärtner attended the Middelbare Hotelschool Groningen from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Hotel management with a focus on economics. From 2003 to 2004, they studied at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, specializing in Economics. Markku then attended Hogeschool HBO Nederland from 2004 to 2006, focusing on Economics. In 2015, Markku enrolled at Hotelschool The Hague and completed the Masterclass Hospitality in FM, specializing in Facilities Planning and Management in 2016.
