Birgitte Krog Christensen

Birgitte Krog Christensen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in enzyme recovery and production management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Novonesis since February 2024, Birgitte leads a department of 100 employees across three shifts. Previously, Birgitte held a similar role at Novozymes from August 2015 to February 2024, after working as a Production Leader. Birgitte's career started at Novo Nordisk A/S, where multiple Associate Manager positions were held, overseeing teams in various production areas, and began as a Chemist in the QC Laboratory. Earlier roles included a Chemical Engineer position at Aqua Teknik A/S and Laboratory Technician at Cheminova A/S. Birgitte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Aalborg University and a Laboratory Technician degree from Esbjerg Tekniske Skole.
