Christel May-Worre

Christel May-Worre is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate legal matters. Currently serving as Sr. Director and Head of Corporate Legal, M&A/Integration at Novonesis since January 2024, Christel previously held the position of Director and Head of M&A Legal at Chr. Hansen from August 2018 to January 2024, where responsibilities included legal oversight of M&A projects and strategic alignment with financial leadership. Christel has also acquired significant expertise in cross-border transactions, complex regulatory environments, and contract negotiation through roles at Bremer Advokater and Horten. Early career experiences included internships and clerkships at various legal firms, including Holland & Knight LLP, and academic training at the University of Copenhagen and Oxford University Summer School.
