Ethel Laursen brings extensive leadership experience in the fields of agriculture and industrial biosolutions, currently serving as the Regional President & SVP of Planetary Health for Latin America at Novonesis. Prior roles at Novozymes included Vice President for Agriculture and Industrial Biosolutions across multiple regions, and Global Technical Industries Director for Marketing & Sales. Ethel's earlier career featured sales management roles at Cognis and Henkel, focusing on regional markets in Latin America and Scandinavia. Ethel holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, earned between 1987 and 1993.
