Gregory Maloney

Gregory Maloney is a highly experienced professional in the field of plant biology and biotechnology, currently serving as a Senior Scientist I at Novonesis since January 2024. Prior experience at Novozymes BioAg Limited since August 2014 includes roles as Technical Lead for enzyme and microbial biologicals application development, Project Leader for soybean biological product development, and Group Leader within the Application Development group. Maloney has a strong background in research and project management, with significant contributions to the development of biological agricultural products aimed at enhancing crop yield and pest control. Previous positions include Research Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where Maloney conducted extensive studies in plant microbe interactions and tomato flavor metabolism. Maloney holds a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Florida and a BS in Horticulture and Plant Biology from the University of Delaware.
