Morten Gjermansen

Morten Gjermansen is an experienced science manager specializing in bioinformatics and protein design, currently working at Novonesis since February 2024. Prior to this, Morten held various positions at Novozymes from December 2007 to February 2024, including roles as science manager and senior scientist, focusing on bioinformatics analysis of natural enzyme diversity and leading R&D projects in microbial discovery. Morten began their career at the Technical University of Denmark as a postdoctoral researcher, exploring molecular mechanisms of bacterial biofilms. Morten holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and an M.Sc. in Engineering (Biotechnology) from the Technical University of Denmark.
