Nicolai Neesgaard

Nicolai Neesgaard currently serves as Director and Head of the Plant BioControl Business Unit at Novonesis, starting in May 2024. Prior to this role, Nicolai held various positions at Chr. Hansen from August 2019 to May 2024, notably as Director and Head of Commercial Development for Animal and Plant Health & Nutrition, which included leadership in commercial development, portfolio management, and market expansion. Nicolai also served as International Marketing Manager at Cell Biotech International A/S from September 2014 to July 2019, focusing on probiotic products and skincare technology, and was responsible for European marketing strategies. Earlier experiences include Product Manager at Miele from January 2011 to August 2014, where responsibilities included leading marketing and product development for kitchen appliances. Additional roles include Marketing Coordinator at frontAvenue A/S and early internship activities at Kompas Kommunikation. Nicolai holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Economics from Copenhagen Business School, along with a BA in Business Administration and a degree in Marketing Management.
