Russell Howard

Russell originated the company with Brian Sefton. He currently serves as chairman of the board of directors. Founder and CEO of Maxygen, through IPO and sale to Astellas, he also created and spun out Codexis and Verdia. He has raised more than $200M in public markets and now serves as Chairman of Immutep (ASX: IMP; NASDAQ: IMMP) and Executive Chairman of NeuClone P/L. Early on, Russell was President and Scientific Director of Affymax, as well as an NIH senior fellow. He has over 140 peer reviewed publications.
