Yuriy Orlov

Yuriy Orlov is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as the Head of the Computer Genomics Laboratory at Novosibirsk State University since August 2014. Additionally, Yuriy has held the position of Senior Scientist at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS since February 2011, where responsibilities include heading the Shared Facility "Bioinformatics" at the Siberian Supercomputer Center. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher and PostDoctoral Fellow at the Genome Institute of Singapore from 2005 to 2011, as well as various positions at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics in Novosibirsk from 1989 to 2005. Yuriy's academic background includes a degree from Novosibirsk State University, completed in 1991.
