Philip Spillane

Philip Spillane has extensive work experience in various financial and leadership roles. Philip is currently working as a Business and Financial Consultant, starting in November 2021. Previously, they served as the Group CFO/MD at Novostrat from October 2002 onwards. Prior to that, they were the Finance Director at FMC Tech Ltd from 2002 to 2006. Philip also held the position of Vice President Finance at ALSTOM Power Conversion (now GE Power Conversion) from 1987 to 2001. Other notable roles include Controller - Products Division at Cegelec from 1995 to 1999, Financial Controller at AEG from 1988 to 1994, and Financial Controller at Kollmorgen from 1987 to 1988. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Manager - general practice at KPMG from 1980 to 1987, Group Financial Accountant at Abbott Ireland from 1979 to 1980, and Supervisor at Ernst & Young from 1976 to 1979.

Philip Spillane earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork, where they studied commerce from 1972 to 1976. Following that, from 1976 to 1978, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, where they obtained an FCA degree.
