Genc Jakupi is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technology leadership and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at NOVUS since May 2023, Genc previously held positions including Information Technology Security Analyst and Senior Network Administrator at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, where responsibilities involved designing security systems and monitoring information security. Furthermore, Genc has served as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at NOVUS from September 2019 to July 2021 and as the Chief Information Security Officer at NLB Banka Prishtina, focusing on enterprise information security and IT risk management. Early career experiences include roles at the Agency for Information Society and Kujtesa Net, providing technical support and configuring network infrastructures. Genc holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
