Karen Tanner-Holt, NCIDQ IIDA has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Karen started their career as an Intern Designer at Merriman and Associates Architects, where they gained experience in project programming, space planning, finish selections, and construction document production. Karen then worked at Texas Woman's University as an Interior Designer, managing various time-sensitive and politically sensitive projects and ensuring compliance with state handicapped accessibility laws.

Karen also worked as a Design Consultant at Spacemakers, where they were responsible for direct sales, marketing, and design of custom home organization solutions. Karen joined Consultants and Builders, Inc as a Senior Interior Designer, leading financial institution projects and handling responsibilities such as programming, space planning, finish selection, furniture specification, and client management.

Furthermore, Karen worked at ViaSat, Inc as a Designer, collaborating with engineers to produce drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
