Heather Gunn

Heather Gunn has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Heather started their career as an Interior Designer at Intertech Architectural Interiors in 2001 and worked there until 2010. During this time, they handled various commercial design projects, managing all project phases and conducting meetings with clients.

After that, Heather joined Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in 2010 as a Design and Brand Manager. Heather spearheaded and managed the online interior design services business for the company's affiliated brands. Heather led a team of seventeen interior designers, overseeing projects for residential clients nationally and internationally.

In 2015, Heather joined MGM Design & Development as an Interior Designer. Heather was responsible for developing, organizing, and coordinating interior design concept presentations for hospitality projects. Additionally, they assisted in creating FF&E budgets and selections that met project requirements.

Heather's most recent role is with Blue Heron, where they have held multiple positions. Heather started as a Senior Interior Designer in 2017, managing the client experience and designing luxury homes. Later, they became an Interior Design Manager in 2020, and currently, they hold the position of Director of Design Operations from March 2023.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong leadership skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and expertise in managing budgets and meeting project deadlines.

Heather Gunn has a Certified Interior Designer degree from The Art Institutes and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Journalism from Illinois Central College. In addition, they have obtained certifications in 10 hour Construction Safety and Health from OSHA and the NCIDQ certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.
