Benjamin Tovar-Prince has been working in the engineering industry since 2013. Benjamin began their career as the General Manager and Website Developer at Holly Blue Acres, where they managed 4-6 employees and developed a software-based sales documentation scheme. In 2015, they joined the Michigan Tech Aerospace Enterprise as the Command & Data Handling Lead Engineer for the Stratus Cubesat, where they were responsible for leading a team of 6 student engineers. In 2018, they joined Extreme Engineering Solutions as an Embedded Engineering CO-OP, where they were involved in testing hardware to verify product standards. In 2020, they were contracted through Cinder Staffing as a Hardware Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they were responsible for firmware flashing, BIOS configuration, and operating system imaging. Currently, they are a Validation Engineer at Novus Labs, where they are validating communication port functionality for customer products from a multitude of industries.
Benjamin Tovar-Prince received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from Michigan Technological University between 2013 and 2019.
