Rachel Tierney

Rachel Tierney has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rachel began their career as a Support Analyst at Thru-Put Systems in 1997, where they provided technical support to clients. In 1999, they moved to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a LIMS Implementation Analyst/Validation Analyst, focusing on implementing laboratory information management systems.

In 2004, Rachel joined Midwave Corporation as the Shared Services Practice Lead. In this role, they managed shared services consultants, developed processes and procedures, and supported the sales process. Rachel also set up a ticketing system and handled account management functions.

Moving forward, Rachel joined Marketing Architects in 2010 as the Manager of Technology/Development. Rachel took on responsibilities such as leading the development team, project delivery and planning, team development, education, and process development. Rachel utilized various development methodologies and technologies to drive success.

Rachel then joined United Language Group in 2016, starting as the Enterprise Technology Manager and later transitioning to the role of Global Director of Application Development. In 2019, they became the Global Director of Technology Services, focusing on PM/BA/QA services delivered across all technology areas. Rachel ensured optimization of processes, procedures, and methodologies while adhering to compliance-driven initiatives.

Most recently, Rachel joined Novus Media LLC in 2021 as the Vice President of Technology. Rachel is currently responsible for overseeing the technology department and is involved in strategic decision-making.

Throughout their career, Rachel Tierney has accumulated valuable experience in technology leadership, application development, project management, and process optimization.

Rachel Tierney attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
