Andrew Karanja

Andrew Karanja has worked in various laboratory analyst roles since 1997. In 1997, they began working at Peak Analytical, Inc as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed samples for anions, cations species using Ion Chromatography, and also for organic functional groups using High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Andrew then began working at Core Laboratories as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed environmental samples for metals with Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Spectrometry, and Atomic Absorption-Cold Vapor, using EPA methods. Andrew also began working at Alcon Laboratories as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they analyzed returned samples to determine the cause of the defect, and used EasyTrak, a complaint handling software to track different types of complaints. In 1998, they began working at Bayer Corporation as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed raw materials, process samples, and finished goods for Polyurethane (Polymer) units of the plant. In 2012, they began working at RC Venture Group, Inc. as a Research Sales Consultant, where they identified and compiled a list of companies in the hydro-fracking drilling business and organized and implemented multiple direct marketing campaigns of environmental frack-fluid chemicals used in hydro-fracking and hydro-carbon drilling. In 2014, they began working at EXIMIUS COFFEE, L.L.C. as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed raw green coffee samples, decaffeinated coffee samples, and tea blend samples for caffeine content using High Performance Liquid Chromatography. In 2016, they began working at Novvi, LLC as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed raw materials, process samples, and finished goods of Olefins (Alkenes) samples produced in the plant. In 2019, they began working at The LYCRA Company as a Laboratory Analyst, where they analyzed raw materials, process samples, and finished goods of 1, 4-Butanediol (BDO). Tetrahydrofuran (THF), and Polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG) samples produced in the plant. Additionally, they began working at Huffmaster as an Environmental Monitoring Analyst, where they analyzed and monitored bacterial and fungal growth in Aseptic areas of the vaccine production area in the Merck West Point facility.

Andrew Karanja obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Jackson State University from 1987 to 1992. Andrew then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University from 1992 to 1996.
