Tim Bamber has a diverse work experience in the field of audio engineering and sound design. Tim started their career as an Audio Engineer at Nuance Communications in 2010 and worked there until 2011. Tim then worked as a Composer & Sound Designer, providing their expertise in music composition and sound design in various projects. In 2013, Tim founded "Sound for Self-Shooters", a company focused on providing sound-related services. Tim also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Open City Documentary Festival in 2014 and later at UCL in 2015. Tim's most recent role is as the Head of Sound at now>press>play, where they coordinate audio production and works with a team of sound designers and composers to bring educational resources to life through sound. Additionally, Tim has experience in audio digitization and restoration, as they supervised the audio digitization and restoration of Cherry Red Records' vinyl archives in 2006.
Tim Bamber obtained their Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Music from the University of Bristol between the years 2001 and 2004. Tim later pursued a Master's degree in Sound Arts from the University of the Arts London, which they completed in 2012.
