Jeff Montie has more than 25 years of experience in fast-moving consumer goods, building strong brands, and driving accelerated growth globally.
Montie began his career with Procter & Gamble in Brand Management, before moving to Kellogg’s, where he spent 21 years in a variety of Marketing and then General Management positions, including Executive Vice President of Kellogg’s Company from 2003 to 2008. Montie led teams in domestic markets as well as Canada, South Africa, Germany, and England before being named President of Kellogg’s North America, a position held from 2004 to 2007. During this time, North American sales grew from $6 billion to $8 billion, leading their categories and achieving record market share gains in key categories such as Ready-to-Eat-Cereal and Snacks. He successfully grew brands like Special K and Kashi with compelling advertising and aggressive innovation programs. Montie became President of Kellogg’s International in 2007, overseeing operations in over 40 countries, marketing and selling brands in over 180 countries. During his tenure, he was actively involved in numerous acquisitions in both the U.S. and around the world (ranging in size from $25 million in sales to $2 billion).
Most recently, Jeff Montie has held the position of CEO of Wenner Bakery, a private-equity-backed leader in the frozen bread and roll business, supplying retail bakeries and foodservice establishments across the country. Since the acquisition, both sales and profit have grown exponentially, necessitating the build-out of a new 150,000 square foot manufacturing plant.
Montie currently serves on the Board of Jack Links.
Mr. Montie received a Bachelors's Degree in Business Administration from Cedarville University in Ohio and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
