Doug Smith

Doug Smith is a seasoned software engineer specializing in integration, with extensive experience in developing HL7 interfaces and integration engines across various healthcare applications. Currently serving as a Senior Integration Software Engineer at Solventum since September 2021, Doug has also held the position of Integration Engineer at Nox Medical since May 2020, where an HL7 interface engine for the Sleep Study application Noxturnal was developed. Previous roles include integration engineering at TruMed Systems, Inc. and Clinical Reference Laboratory, as well as various engineering positions at Cerner Corporation, MobileMD, TEKsystems, Talyst, and St. Vincent Hospital, where a significant number of HL7 interfaces were developed and maintained. Doug holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Phoenix.
