Alessio Nava

Alessio Nava has a diverse work experience in software engineering and simulation engineering roles. From January 2022, they are currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Nozomi Networks. Prior to that, from June 2021 to December 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Nozomi Networks, Alessio worked in the simulation and software engineering field from January 2019 to May 2021. During this time, they served as a Simulation and Software Engineer, where they focused on structural and fluid dynamics simulations. Alessio collaborated with Team3D, a Siemens Platinum Solutions Partner, and worked with software tools like Teamcenter, Simcenter 3D, FEMAP, Star-CCM+, and NX Open. Alessio also had a strong background in Python and C++ programming and developed numerical algorithms and applications for photometric and spectrum analysis.

From April 2016 to December 2018, Alessio worked at AEETB S.r.l. as a CAD/CAE Junior Engineer. Here, they were involved in marketing and designing mechanical components, specifically bespoken and CETOP manifolds. Alessio used Solid Edge for CAD design and code_aster/Calculix for CAE analysis, focusing on structural integrity and OpenFOAM/code_saturne for fluid dynamics efficiency. Alessio's earliest work experience was as an intern at C.A.M. S.r.l. - Costruzione Apparecchiature Meccaniche from June 2012 to April 2014. Here, they created software to enhance the company's productivity by developing automated VB.Net or C# plugins for advanced CAD/CAM modeling. Alessio also contributed to the maintenance and improvement of the company website.

Alessio Nava's education history begins in 2007, when they attended Liceo Scientifico Arcivescovile Castelli Saronno for their high school education. Alessio studied Physical Sciences from 2007 to 2012.
