Luca Zacchetti

Luca Zacchetti has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade.

Luca started their career as a Software Engineer at Vulcano Sas Soluzioni con l'Informatica from September 2009 to May 2011.

From June 2011 to January 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tecnosphera SpA, where they focused on maintaining and implementing web projects using Python and Web2py/Zope, with a particular emphasis on RFID tags in the medical field.

Following that, from February 2014 to April 2016, they served as a Software Engineer at Thunder Systems Srl, where they took full ownership of various web projects and was responsible for their development and deployment using Python and Django.

In 2016, they joined Cloud Academy, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Luca collaborated with internal development teams, designing and implementing new features and optimizing the company's internal infrastructure running on AWS. From February 2018 to December 2018, they took on the role of Technical Product Owner, leading the evolution of an internal product and contributing to its development alongside a team of engineers. From January 2019 to November 2019, they served as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer, ensuring the smooth running of the company's infrastructure on AWS, improving the CI/CD tools, and helping developers create and maintain services.

Before joining their current position, Luca Zacchetti worked at VF Corporation, starting in December 2019 as a Cloud Support Specialist. In this role, they provided incident response on different cloud-based projects, collaborated with internal teams to design and maintain solutions, and built automated solutions for self-healing systems and improved platform observability.

Luca'smost recent position is a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Nozomi Networks, where they started in October 2020. Further information regarding this role is not provided.

Luca Zacchetti attended ITIS A.Badoni and obtained a degree in Perito industriale capotecnico informatico, with a focus on Information Technology. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Nozomi Networks. Luca became AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in February 2017, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in January 2017, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate in February 2017. In December 2017, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification and, in July 2017, the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification. Luca also holds certifications in AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty (March 2018), Nozomi Networks Certified Engineer (December 2020), and AWS Certified Security - Specialty (April 2021).
