Mike Goffinet

Mike Goffinet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mike started their career in 1999 with Phish, Inc., where they worked in copyright enforcement and seized counterfeit merchandise. In 2005, they joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a Correctional Officer, responsible for processing federal offenders and maintaining prison security. Mike worked there until 2018. In 2016, they became a Road Merchandise Manager at Tinman Merchandising LLC. From 2017 to present, they have been employed at Live Nation Entertainment as Venue Security. In 2018, they also worked as an Event Security staff at Staff Pro. Mike briefly worked as a DAL Global Security Corporate Supervisor at DGS from 2020 to 2021, before joining Starplex Corporation (Crowd Management Services) as a Backstage Manager/Supervisor. Lastly, they worked as a GSOC Operator at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Security Management Agent at NPB Companies.

Mike Goffinet has a diverse education history. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Leadership from Penn State University in the years 2011 to 2015. During the same time period, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sports Event Security Management from The University of Southern Mississippi and completed a Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. In 2011 to 2012, they also obtained a Certificate in Security Studies and Homeland Security from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Prior to their undergraduate studies, Mike earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati from 2005 to 2008. Mike previously completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Washington University between 1999 and 2005.

Mike has also pursued additional certifications. In 2020, they obtained a Level 4 Award in Foundations of Security and Risk Management from DELTAR TRAINING SOLUTIONS. In 2016, they became a Certified Team Supervisor and acquired the Six Sigma Champion Certified (SSCC) designation through the Management and Strategy Institute. Additionally, they hold certifications in ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents (FEMA), Investigative Interviewing (Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates), and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certified (Management and Strategy Institute).

Furthermore, Mike has engaged in independent learning and attended the Executive Protection Institute in 2020, Executive Security International in 2015, and Berklee College of Music at an unspecified time.
