Igor Tak

Lecturer Sports And Orthopedic Rehabilitation at NPi | Dutch Institute of Allied Health Care

Igor Tak is a highly experienced postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam Collaboration on Health and Safety in Sports and the IOC Research Center of Excellence since March 2020. In addition, Igor has been a consulting physical therapist in sports since May 2007, owning a practice specialized in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy. With a comprehensive background in physiotherapy, Igor has held various roles, including lecturer in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, owner of Motion Worx BV, and a member of the medical staff at AFC Ajax. Igor has also chaired the Dutch Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and coordinated courses for the Master of Physical Therapy in Sports. An accomplished researcher, Igor completed a PhD at the University of Amsterdam focused on groin pain in athletes and has a robust educational foundation in physiotherapy with degrees from prestigious institutions including KU Leuven and Avans+.
