Martin Ophey is a dedicated researcher and educator in the field of physiotherapy, currently serving as a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC since April 2021, focusing on patellofemoral pain within the orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine department. Simultaneously, Martin has held teaching positions at NPi | Dutch Institute of Allied Health Care, Physio Education & Science, and ESP Science and Education, contributing to postgraduate and specialized education in sports physiotherapy. In addition, Martin has been an editor for the German journal "sportphysio" since March 2013 and has worked as a physiotherapist at Ysveld Fysio since September 2004. Martin's academic background includes a BSc in Physiotherapy from HAN University of Applied Sciences, an MSc in Allied Health Care from Radboud University, and a degree in Sports Physiotherapy from ESP Education Network. Martin also served as a senior lecturer at Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen from January 2001 to September 2007.
