Karin Jork-Wellbrock (PCC) is a seasoned executive and team coach, currently serving as a Partner at Kay Group K.K. since September 2017, where the focus is on empowering leaders within multinational corporations in Japan. As a Startup Mentor for Techstars and a Senior Fellow at The Conference Board, Karin applies extensive experience in consulting, leadership coaching, and angel investing to support emerging founders and research women executives in Asia. Additionally, Karin contributes as a Senior Level Executive Contributor to Brainz Magazine and is actively involved with the Epic Angels Investment Committee, which invests in diverse, high-impact companies across the APAC region. With roles in various initiatives such as the Founder Institute and the World Economic Forum, Karin is dedicated to mentoring startup founders and empowering the next generation of women leaders. Educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Stanford University, specializing in organizational behavior, strategic decision-making, and international relations.

Hands On Tokyo (HOT) is a legally registered Non-Profit in Tokyo. OUR MISSION is to mobilize and empower the Tokyo Community to meet pressing social needs in our city through bi-lingual Volunteers services. Celebrating 12 years of service, Hands On Tokyo, one of the action centers for HandsOn Network, serves the needs of the community by creating & providing volunteer engagement programs. Hands On Tokyo is an affiliate of the Points of Light Foundation, with 250 action centers in 30 countries. WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE: - Meaningful volunteer opportunities based on real community needs - Volunteer programs offered in English & Japanese - Strong relationships established with a diverse range of community partners OUR ACHIEVEMENTS in 2018: - 13,275 Recipients - 4,245 Active Volunteers - 15,811 Volunteer Hours - 612 Projects OUR HISTORY: In the late 1980's, New York Cares was founded based on a new model of volunteering: instead of donating money, volunteers served the community by dedicating their extra time to meaningful, hands-on projects without long-term commitment. This movement spread rapidly, and similar organizations were established across the U.S., eventually forming the HandsOn Network. This network later merged with the Points Of Light Foundation, becoming the largest volunteer network in the US, with more than 250 action centers in 30 Countries. Hands On Tokyo was founded in December 2006 by a group seeking opportunities to serve the community. A recognized non-profit since 2009, Hands On Tokyo is the only Points of Light affiliate in Japan and has become a portal for Japanese and foreign nationals seeking meaningful volunteer opportunities.
