Amanda Aronczyk

Amanda Aronczyk is an experienced journalist and educator currently serving as the Host and Reporter for Planet Money at NPR since October 2019. Aronczyk has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY since August 2010, teaching Broadcast News Writing and Production. Previous experience includes roles as a Reporter at WNYC Radio and significant freelance contributions to various media outlets, such as Studio 360, Freakonomics, and BBC. Notably, Aronczyk was a Soros Justice Media Fellow with the Open Society Foundations, focusing on the financial implications of imprisonment. With a robust background in radio production and journalism, Aronczyk's education includes a BA in Communication from Concordia University, complementing a deep foundational experience in sound specialization.
