Benazir Samad is an accomplished International Multimedia Journalist with significant experience at Voice of America since July 2019 and as a contributing writer for NPR's global health and development blog from April 2019. Prior roles include Chief Editor of digital media at ARY News from May 2013 to July 2018 and Web Editor at Pakistan Press Foundation in 2011-2012, as well as Sub Editor at Daily Times Pakistan from 2009 to 2010. Benazir holds a Journalism degree as a Fulbright Humphrey fellow from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University (2018-2019) and a BS in Media Sciences, Advertising & Journalism from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (2007-2011).
