Greg Myre

National Security Correspondent

Greg Myre is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in national and international reporting. Currently serving as the National Security Correspondent for NPR since 2008, Myre focuses on the intelligence community and previously held roles such as International Digital Editor and Morning Edition Editor. Prior to NPR, Myre was a correspondent for The New York Times from 2003 to 2007, covering significant events in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Myre's career also includes two decades at The Associated Press, where roles included Bureau Chief, News Editor, and Reporter, with notable coverage of key historical events in South Africa. Myre is an alumnus of Yale University.
