Heena Srivastava

Heena Srivastava is an accomplished Podcast Producer at Chicago Public Media since January 2021, known for leading the production of the popular show "Making" and producing daily newscasts for NPR’s "Consider This." Previously, Heena was a Research Intern for journalist Bill Healy, focusing on criminal justice issues, and held various roles at The Daily Northwestern, including Digital Managing Editor and Audio Reporter, where significant improvements in social media engagement and award-winning series production were achieved. Experience also includes work as a Research Reporter for APM Reports, covering investigations in English and Spanish, and serving as a Political Reporter for Medill News Service, where reporting on congressional events showcased strong multimedia storytelling skills. Heena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Political Science from Northwestern University.
